personally i don't like the genres mixed up. adventure/op mc is a whole other world from BL for me.
and in case you haven't noticed 98% of these kinds of stories are actually written by straight guys so if you find something good with BL in it, that would be so very much rare. guys sometimes add bromance for the sake of the female readers tho like this one...give it a try:
