well we don't see him level up in the traditional sense but we do see him train with Zod. He was in the tower trying to master his new dragon/magic circle spells. He is overdramatic but he did see millions of people die and if he can't stop death now it will be his fault since he knows "plot point" so to speak.
Ok you have a point i shall try to reconsider my view on this story.
To be honest i find this story a bit cliché and the mc can be a bit over dramatic .
Also WHEN WILL YOU LEVEL UP YOUR FRINKIN LEVEL(╯°Д °)╯. AT least use other complicated looks awsome magic and not just that same magic everytime,and pls why not have some time to level up bruh dont just teach other people, think about your self atleast.
