his dpd probably stems from his low self-esteem. i don't know man, how in the world did mandarin become this sort of twisted pitiful character
Yea it could also be bpd though because he had abandonment issues but w/ a hint of narcissism and grandiosity too.. idk I think it was probably something from his childhood that messed him up so badly but then again people are just born like that too so hmm
Honestly though, Mandarin could have avoided all of this if he hadnt been such an asshole to Berry he just needed to stroke her ego a couple of times then when Cherry came back he would have left her of course (but obviously Cherry would then become like Darin..and act like a Psycho) and also Mandarin's dependent personality disorder is really baaadd its not just him being manipulative (I understand this because im manipulative..but not to his extent jeez whatta creep) he genuinely doesn't think he's doing anything wrong..and now he's just going to move on to Pear because he ~likes~ Mandarin ...and just..oh my gosh this story line is perfect because I get it so much you know~ you can't help but use someone when they like you so much because their struggle is so cute but unlike Mandarin i dont have dpd and recognize how terrible i am mmhn
