I’m a doofus (=・ω・=) I meant the duke Alphonse.
It was a quick flashback memory the tea-fanatic Chloe remembered from the her who used to live in her body. It’s in chapter 28, where Chloe looks at Alphonse as remembers him looming over her. She blushed, but I thought that was mad scary for the other Chloe. Another reference is in chapter 27, where the noble ladies were asking for gross details and she remembers. I think that would be scary, to remember your husband as how he was drawn in those 2 chapters, with him looming over you like that.
It was a political marriage, like a contract. They were meant to monthly try to give birth to an heir. It's messed up and from Chloe's perspective super scary,but my boi Al grew from that and broke free from his childhood traumas thanks to the current Chloe.

I’m about to start chapter 33, and I genuinely feel sick to my stomach. So far, regarding sexual intimacy, only a single panel of a shirtless Cain (who I assume was having sex with Chloe before the tea-fanatic occupied the body) has been shown. I get that now they both don’t mind each other, but I feel pity for the past Chloe who had to have sex with Cain. They were not compatible, and he never treated her with respect. I just couldn’t imagine having to tango with someone so indifferent towards me. It seems scary, and really puts me off reading any further,
