I quickly checked the article you mentioned and the 'Virgiliam' in the title is just a typo, later in the text it's correctly written 'Virgilian' (which means related to a poet named Virgil). Seems like the name Virgiliam was simply created by the author.
I tried googling liam's name "virgiliam" because it sounds pretty and want to know if it's based on someone or something, and I found an article (?) titled "Immortality's Winds and Fields of Sleep". I don't fully understand what the preview means, because of my limited english, so now I'm curious...
