All the character had redemption and grew... the only one I hate from start to finish is Derek, despite liking her he didn’t believe her many times, saw her as this evil person, and blamed her constantly for everything... easily sided with who ever was against her..... I want to know what happened to him... I know he was the first to get brain washed but what happens when the truth is out and the monster Yvonne is defeated? What happen to him did he feel guilty or apologized...... what about the monster Yvonne Did she die??
Actually when yvonne got found out bc the duke(father) confronted her (bc the duke saw that she has no reflections on the tea water), at some point, because Derek was brainwashed, he came to yvonne side and became a hostage but penelope said yvonne could kill him anytime bc she doesnt care about Derek yada yada yada then maybe a bit in him recognized that it’s no longer the yvonne he knew so he stabbed her(it wasnt a fatal stab tho) and I think that was his last scene? He wasnt really mentioned again at all even in side stories. And yes, monster yvonne died. Penelope met real yvonne’s soul (bc it was trapped in the mirror of truth) and real yvonne’s soul eventually vanished from that world (I think she was given the chance to reincarnate, it just wasnt mentioned anymore)

aight so here’s how it is, the duke(not an ML) loved her truly as the time went by, callisto is the end game, eclise is a poor baby that got turned into a villain, the rabbit magician is just so-so, reynold is a little bitch and derek is the biggest motherfucker of em all.
The Duke - he realized he’s been so wrong and that he brought her in because of his selfishness when he himself didn’t know how to deal with it or what happens next after he picked her up. He turns into a blind eye into what was happening to the OG penelope but he repented when it is pur MC. He actually loved her that when yvonne came back(not the rl yvonne but a monster in her body) on penelope’s age of birth coming debut, he decided that yvonne shouldn’t attend the event and keep the fact that the original duke’s daughter came back so that penelope will be the center because it’s her birthday. In the end, our mc can’t forgive anyone in the house because she thinks that it’s way too late and that they should’ve asked for forgiveness before she replaced OG penelope.
Callisto - the only one who’s always on the side of our mc. There’s some ups and downs but the most important thing is that he never got brainwashed by yvonne because he truly loved penelope. Our penelope will choose callisto over the chance of coming back to her OG body.
Eclise - the most regretful male lead :((( he loved penelope but he got darkly obsessed with her because he knew that penelope was just sweet talking him and that she really didn’t meant it. He was so confused of what she wanted from him that he loved and hated her at the same time. He wanted her so much that he betrayed penelope and took the real yvonne back to the duke’s house so that penelope will be kicked out and she will rely on him but penelope cut him off. He got brainwashed by yvonne that “he is pitiful because penelope will abandon him anytime” then he became a villain but saved her from the dragon so he died. But then his body was never found so it wasn’t clear where he was. (Side stories showed that he is alive but lost his memories)
