Also, i know right??? i said this before - lightening the hair or eyes would've been 100% better
1. Still gets the point across (change of appearance due to the blessing given)
2. Looks fucking cool as hell (tan skin with light hair/light eyes looks fucking awesome if drawn well. would've made that scene more dramatic and impactful too)
3. Less insensitive and just...wouldn't come off as wrong
4. Wouldn't make the MC look like every fucking female protag in manga ever

And if I have to see another pretty darkskin get whitewashed imma throw hands bc this is ridiculous. Like literally anything other than her skin would've been great but taking the light spirit and using her as an excuse is just plain out shitty for the author to do, I like this story but that's trashy asf.
