I mean they had whipping boys back in the day that grew up beside the noble child and got punished if the noble child did wrong so honestly a venting companion seems like a plausible occupation.
omg I almost forgot about that weird thing with noble kid's whipping boys its such a terrible weird thing but yeah it wouldnt be odd for there being an actual position for a casual venting aide
idk if they actually had a position for venting companion back then (must have been more of a close aide thing) but she would make a pretty good court jester (￣∇￣")
