Confused

In Brasil, the physical version of this manga is already in chapter 60.

Shoudn't it be easier to just buy the copy in a language you know instead of translating it from the original? I mean, it must be easier than finding people willing to translate it from japanese O.o

That is because during translations, things can be a little off. Think of it like the Brazilian company taking the Japanese numbers, rounding them, and then the English company takes those rounded numbers and rounds them again before trying to use. It's inaccurate. Then, I realized I could've said that it was like Telephone... *palms self*

Third degree language translations are more common then you think.

What usually happens on scantalator ends is that they use Chinese raws (translated from Japanese) and they translate from there to English. Its easier to find translators for Chinese then Japanese.

Occasionally you'll see things like Russian/Spanish/French raws before English.

In this case, the main issue with Blood Lad is that because its already licensed, the current scantalator group is using raws and translating it themselves. There is English translations already published up to (or past?) 60 but they haven't scanned them/used them.

I think one person did scan an English volume for 5-6 chapters though.
