So as some of you probably know, I am an impatient twat and cannot just sit back and wait for things to come at me, so I went looking for spoilers... And whoo boy I found them...

Ivona asks Claude to go out of the country. They stay at a hot spring hotel. So you already know something steamy is going to happen. On the first day, they go to watch a play which has a LOT of skinship and Ivona looks away (ML and FL original kingdom is conservative and religious). Ivona was tired after seeing the play since they had been walking around all day prior to them watching the play. Claude notices this so when they go to the hot spring, Claude proposes to give her a massage. And of course you have to read Claude's POV for this one! It starts out innocently but after Ivona's fatigue gets relieve, Ivona starts feeling weird about the massage. She remembers the play and thinks about how hard it will be to jump right away to consummation one year later (as per their contract). So she asks Claude is it's alright to take their skinship step by step instead of doing it all at once one year later. Claude draws closer and towered over her after hearing this. Claude then asks what step they should take today. Ivona answers that today it will be alright to kiss. And Claude jumps into action.

While they were doing an expedition to prevent the devil's resurrection. The two had to sleep beside each other (they would sleep on different rooms in the Argentine castle). Of course, various skinships happen. However, it stopped when Claude finds out that Haslat, Ivona's beast, is known as Baron Giz (her former fiance)'s beast. He asks her why this is and also why she is investigating the current fiance of Baron Giz (she's doing it to prevent the current fiance from going through the same experimentation she went through but he doesn't know that). She can't answer him because to answer his question she would have to explain that she came back from the past and if she confessed that, she would also have to talk about how she loved Baron Giz for years. Which is something she doesn't want him finding out. So she doesn't answer the question. And starting there, their relationship deteriorates. But one night, Ivona decides to spill everything and afterwards they finally give each other everything.

There's other plot stuff and more angst but ultimately, the reason why Ivona came back to the past was all because of Claude. After Ivona died in the first life, Claude was so devastated that he swallowed the Devil's heart (which has powers over space and time) in order to give Ivona another chance to live.

they have one child. Sadly, the author doesn't go into much detail after the epilogue though.

At the end, Baron Giz (fiance) and Tristan (cousin) died. Baron Giz was put to jail and Tristan encouraged him to undergo through the experiment (the same one Ivona went through in her previous life) in order to escape. Baron Giz did go through it and afterwards Tristan led him to a trap where Gaspal was devoured by beasts (at this point, Tristan hated Gaspal especially since he suggested that Tristan go through the experiment himself). Tristan thought Ivona would appreciate his actions (she didn't). Tristan also ended up going through experimentation himself after being blackmailed by a priest (there's shady stuff going on in the temple) and he ends up dying at the priest's hands.

After the war ended, Claude could have asked for anything as he prevented the devil's resurrection, even if it was the crown. But he only looked to do one thing - to treat Ivona's ailment. He went to the high priest and asked if there was anything he could do. But the priest told him it was useless, in fact, Ivona will be dying soon. So when Ivona finally died, he considered it the worst day of his life. At this point, he knew about how Gaspal had used her in order to get achievements and become the crown prince, how his father had treated her as a commodity and mistreated her all her life, how she became a social outcast due to her appearance. The priest asked him if he loved her. Claude didn't think so, after all he doesn't know how to love. The priest (*and also I*) felt otherwise. So when the high priest suggested of a way - eating the devil's heart (remember when I said the temple was shady? well that's a story for another day) - in order to give Ivona another chance, Claude complied.

That is why Ivona being the only allowed to call him 'Claude' is so significant. Because she was the only to see past his achievements and titles, and saw him for his true self.
During their expedition to prevent the demon resurrection, Ivona noticed that he has not been using the sword. She wanted to ask him about it. But because she couldn't answer him when he asked why Haslat was known as Baron Giz' beast and why she was investing Baron Giz' current fiance, Ivona felt she had no right to question him when she also had secrets she didn't want to tell. Nevertheless, she was worried about him. Meanwhile, Claude felt like he shouldn't even attempt to come close to Ivona. Although he was hurt that she didn't answer his questions, he thought it was better this way. Because one thing he realized while going through the expeditions was he had a new type of magic coursing through him - it was black mana.
the accident at the ruins slowly awakened the devil's heart inside of him.
The priest wanted the people to rely on the church more, which will only happened if the king of evil came to the world. The priest lead the ML to swallow the devil's heart because he is the only person strong enough to hold the devil's power in him. His plan is so that the dark power take over the ML mind and his body can be used as the devil's body to come to the world.

The scene where Claude is taken over by the black mana is heartbreaking, but Ivona does save him so never fear!!!!
