I think the character development is definitely slow, but the panels are actually getting misaligned, the translator stated that in some recent uploads, not sure how but when she uploads them they somehow get mixed up.
Yeah, though I was pretty confused what she meant by it all thats why I went to that guess ヽ（´ー｀）┌
Just gonna guess this story's creator is still pretty new thats why a lot of the scenes feels stiff, awkward, embarrassing and/or confusing, not a bad thing at all, they just need more experience and research to learn more, I don't mean to offend ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ
