She actually wanted to live a comfortable unemployed life and the best way was to become the empress consort in she doesn't even need to do the royal work which the empress has to do and she decided to never love emperor so she wouldn't have felt jealous if emperor decided to marry the heroin and if she married the Duke or other noble then she was bound to do the duties which land upon the mistress of the house..
Currently on chapter 1 and i don't understand the FL's logic. Her goal is a quiet and stable life so she decides to marry the emperor, who fyi is fated to marry the heroine and she already knows what disastrous ending that will have. But she still goes ahead and decides to marry the emperor anyway? I mean Even if she become friends with the herione, what's the guarantee that the herione will feel the same way? there's no way any woman would be happy with their husband having another wife. They will quickly want to get rid of the other woman. Why not just marry some duke or find another guy to have a stable and quiet life with? The logic is soooo weird, i swear. But eh, i am only on chapter 1 so let's see how it goes.
