Apparently the duke made a deal with a demon and turned back time bc the world was in chaos, there was war, people dying, diseases, just all types of crazy sh*t and he regrets killing his daughter bc he was brainwashed and didn’t realize what he was doing. Also turns out his daughter Keira is the only one who can save the world cause she was the saintness. And Cosette is actually a whole DEMON, and for whatever reason wanted to end the world. well the soul inside of her is a demon, the body is the dukes real daughter as well but the real Cosette died a long time ago. The duke had a first wife, the first wife was Cosettes mother and he loved her but his family was famous for being a neutral politician noble whatever and so even in his family matters, he was neutral. He let Keira’s grandfather kick out his first wife and then he married Keira’s mother. The first wife was abused and hurt and so she left and turns out she was pregnant with Cosette, she gave birth to Cosette but was born dead. She met a demon and the demon made a deal with her, the would demon possessed the body of the baby and said she would get revenge for her.
