I feel the same bc they could've gone to granny, but still charlie would've died since his body can't handle the ailen. And without Charlie I don't think Charlotte could've been happy since in the end he's the one who understands and accepts her.
the ending feels like escapism... :// would have liked to see them become accepted in the real world but the story overall was great :')
