Asseylum married another person, and slained claimed to be dead, but actually he got prisoned in earth, and Inaho often visited him, (asseylum beg Inaho tosave slaine, so instead kill him, and let slained get killed, Inaho let Slain live but as a prisoner, forthe rest of his life, i guess)
Even after all these years it still confused by the end and what slaine is feeling esp compared to the prequel
