How much the hell yaoi have you read? They never show the lube being applied. Like you, I'd prefer it if they did, but they don't. If you look carefully, you'll see wetness, a lot of it. Knowing that that lube can't come from the anus, and it's doubtful that the precum of the seme is anywhere near that amount, you can assume that lube was applied. A guy whose sex drive is high enough to want sexual intercourse everyday probably has a packet of lube tucked away in a pocket or some at all times. The second time they did it, he clearly uses lube and fingers to prep his partner.

Hi I've read a lot of yaoi and I have seen some manwha's/mangas show lube but you're right not all do. A lot of the yaoi I've read seemd to be written by women who've not had anal before which is why it really stands out and is sexy when it's written well instead of the uke just complaining about a backache.
