His death was so abrupt and ill timing, since it happened when shit went down in the plot, that we and suu didnt even get to properly honor his death. which is sooo sad cos he is vital in the plot at the beginning and now it feels like he is being discarded

He is being discarded, he was Suu's main motivation and now he's gone. Suu doesn't really have anything to strive for anymore, he can't even kill Hwaryun who he so desperately longs to get rid of. Had an himself wasn't vital but his importance to Suu was.

I cant help but agree... Really though lack of reaction from everyone(in the manga) got me so sad...

For real, although I'm not sure that Suu did not react. Nobody cared that they killed him or that they took away Suu's most important person. The evil witch concubine or whatever she is is thinking that killing him would benefit her, I don't understand why and Hwaryun is just as dead as always.

I have no idea whatsoever is going through hwaryun's mind. Also suu's mind and his entirety is exhausted beyond compare that he's just numb. But surely i believe he'll come around.
