But they said in the new chapter that he needs blood and I don’t think they’d cover his face if it was Tanaka.. I’m also pretty sure Tanaka is still alive.. I think this is a new character

Tanaka is loyal to the Phantomhive family.. he knew from the start that OCiel was OCiel.. my guess is that he was only loyal to him because he was the successor, thinking that rciel died but since he came back, rciel is the successor again so Tanaka changed sides.. or that’s what I think....
Yo y'all tripping if u think Polaris is agni cuz it is not wouldn't make sense. He probably a new character we dont know about until now or he is Tanaka. I went back to read it because all ur ideas of it being agni really pissed me cuz that man loyal only to soma so why he with underciel, or Ociel? poor boi soma is sad as f suffering from some PTSD so why isn't agni with him. It just makes -1000% sense. Sure I wish he came back to kick ass cuz he holy but def not agni.
Okay k so pretty sure Polaris is Tanaka if not someone else because underciel mentions on pg 20 that Polaris needs to rest because he can't stay active long. Tanaka as we know cant stay active long plus for some reason he as an old man has some wicked strengthen that we dont get any explanation to. He isn't a demon or any supernatural being so he might be enhanced like finnian and cuz undertaker can revive dead people and prob mess with strength levels making Tanaka look young again it would be possible. Everyone servant has some backstory except Tanaka. We dont know what he is thinking other than his desire to protect his master as a butler. So 55/45 on this theory
Yo I'm kinda praying that once they defeat undertaker and learn how to revive people that they can revive agni for soma because that would be a happy ending (=・ω・=)
