No the Archduke killed the royal family which she was adopted into after everyone found out that she was the king’s daughter. Then she was taken as a slave by the archduke but he didn’t realize for a while that she was the princess he kept alive until now.
I got that same feeling after he tried to have his daughter killed. I honestly would be upset but it'll make for a good turn in the story.
uhh i dont really remember much of her background or her parents if they were introduced, but could she be the daughter the king tried to kill?? so that would make the archduke and her siblings??
