Cliche? Or not?

Why do I get the feeling that I’ve read this before? Or I’ve actually read it before? Or am I remembering another manga plot? Where in the sister of one character (let’s call him character B) met an accident because of chasing the male lead. The male lead was not aware of what happened and got mad at character B for feeling abandoned. Character B still loves the male lead but because he felt guilty of what happened over his sister decided to distance himself from the male lead. The male lead eventually found out what happened to the sister and felt devastated and guilty of everything. He again blames himself for being the jinx and his peronality and self hatred got worse. He is then approached by another guy (character C) taking advantage of the situation. Male lead is at a loss still tried to push away character C but eventually leans on him. Eventully, character B comes back and try to get back with the male lead bla bla bla... hahaha!!!
