It’s not that I can’t take rape scenes, when done right angsty rape is my favorite theme, however him genuinely falling in love with the man who told him to shut up and get raped and then later trying to portray their relationship as even remotely healthy is not only unrealistic, but gross and problematic towards the gay community.
