BL or B/G where the ML suffers (▰˘◡˘▰)

I want the ML to REPENT. Like in BJ Alex ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Something like:
The MC chases after ML and then stops after getting tired of ML's disinterest, ML gets sad
OR
ML treats MC like shiet -> MC moves on -> ML feels remorseful
It doesn't have to be the male lead. It could be some ahole in the beginning, and MC moves on to a better person.

BJ Alex was definitely a masterclass in the remorseful Seme. It’s hard to find any series quite THAT good.

-Behind The Scenes (portrays an abusive relationship in an interesting and fair way, some remorse/reform)
-Love or Hate (Ongoing but nearly finished love triangle about a mutually toxic relationship, but one of the Semes has had some major character development recently. Whether the reformed Seme will get the Uke or the superior rival Seme is TBD, but you might like it either way)
-Behind The Desk (The shitty/remorseful ex is more of a secondary plot)
-Walk on Water (The climax focuses on the Seme burning the Uke. Plus the Rival is a colossal douche who gets what he deserves)

-I disagree with the Lover Boy recommendation. The Uke doesn’t treat the Seme poorly intentionally. The Uke is very aware of their skewed power dynamic and has very legitimate hangups about the relationship, causing him to flail and make disappointing choices. He doesn’t “repent” so much as the power gets redistributed. It is a brilliant series and absolutely worth reading, but nothing like BJ Alex. The Uke is self-destructive, sad, and a navel-gazer rather than an asshole

    You're welcome

-I forgot about From Points of Three! Seme redeems himself hard! While I wish the series continued on a bit so we could actually observe and verify that the couple have a healthy relationship (that's what makes BJ Alex so magical IMO), From Points of Three comes close. And we do actually get to see a tiny bit of them being healthy in the side story.
