even if he was poisoned, he was still capable of loving someone which was Jieun in that timeline. Some of the stuff he did to tia was just way over the line and the fact that he didn’t once stop to question himself for any these irrational acts at all. Tia also not knowing how to express herself is another problem, but he was straight ignoring tia in the life so what else was she supposed to do? So anyway, even if he was poisoned doesn’t really excuse him for being a shitty person to tia in my opinion.

idk i mean i'm like on a thin line between justifying him and not.

he did shit in the last timeline but at the same time he was basically drugged which only caused him to act on the emotional wreck he's always been. then he's an entirely different person in the next timeline but that doesn't really help us forget what happened in the last timeline. and then there's the thing with parallel storylines which means the last timeline and tia's transfer to the next timeline is connected and happened for a reason.

if you read the full spoilers you may feel a sense of empathy for ruve cause despite the fact that he was an asshole, he was human who'd been drowning in depression since he was a toddler. imagine that lack of emotional stability in modern time. some still can't agree with that, but i like to offer some empathy for the guy at least.
