Ouch! Dang... Here I was thinking I had it for being short... That's tough, isn't it? I know with my height I can just barely get on rides at amusement parks, everyday activities like getting something from the cabinets in the kitchen are a struggle, and my friends and family regularly tease me about my height... but damn never mind MY struggles. You.... Y- you're not suffering or anything right? I hope you're okay...... You're OK right? Although it can be tough being short, it's not as if one is suffering through life with a terminal disease or anything so...
Wow, wow I'm quite shocked. lolol that's wild. Sorry for the weird reaction earlier. My mind is always going in a thousand different directions at a time (and, sometimes several hundred of them all at once). But for real though, are you good? Being short the struggle is not just real it's constant.
Aaawww i appreciate the super long mesaage and concern~~(≧∀≦)
Aaand Don't worry, I never really experienced any depression tendencies in being small,
In the Philippines we usually have small heights ahahahahahah,
I guess its a big deal in other countries though? Since the average height is.. Uhmmm.. 5'5 -5'6 i guess?
Wait.. Is it? Ahahahah
Anywaay, yes it also hurts at times since we tend to be compared with to others, especially since my physique is quite petitte aand I UNFORTUNATELY have a baby face with additional squeaky voice soo yeaah ahahahahahah. I REAAALLY LOOK 12 Even if I'm 20 now AHAHAHAHAHAH
Buuutt then again, I'm just gonna impart some tips and I guess it also helps my friends not tease me? Well, i always have this mentality that even if I am small i should never give other people another reason to look down on me.
So as much as possible I try to do the best thing in every task that is given to be and make myself worthy and respectable. I try to excell in acads, maintain positive and fruitfull relationships not bcs I'm doing it for them but bcs I know it's what's best for me and It's what I/we really deserve.
So for the small things in life like reaching things overhead or even going on to rides in parks (though im not really fund of going out though ahahah), I make every possible effort for things to be possible or if not, compromise.
Despite my height, face, voice and physique, I make it known that people should respect me. And they actually do. ( A lot of people actually say they easily get intimidated by me despite my face AHAHAHAHAHAH)
So if you are ever struggling with something, and is something outside of your control, sit back down... Take a deep breath... Close your eyes and think...
What are the things that I actually CAN do.and CAN take control of?
Then that would take all the difference.
Wow, I- I'm.... I don't know how to even put what I'm feeling in words right now. That was very inspiring, relieving (I'm glad to hear that you're doing well), and a score of other things that I don't have a large enough space or vocabulary to put in words. I can honestly relate to quite a bit of what you said as well. I've also got a baby face and often hear that I can be quite intimidating from friends and acquaintances. Most people that meet me almost always guess my age to be much higher or much lower than my actual age. This one time when I was 16 I meet a relative I hadn't seen in a while and she thought that I was 14 or 15, but even so I was fine with with that because it was actually an improvement, previously she thought I was still 12. Literally she thought for the last 3 or so years STRAGHT that I was 12. It's actually kind of funny, my face hasn't changed since elementary school I've only gotten older that's it. I've never held myself a lower standard on account of my height nor have I ever been mistreated for it (those those that tried got shut down quick). Even so I'm grateful for the advice and I'll definitely share it with those that need it.
I live in Florida, here it's hot and humid (more or less year round) and I only know English. I do understand Jamaican Patois (I'm Jamaican American) and am currently learning Spanish though. I've always been interesting in learning about the world and exploring different languages, cultures, and such. So I find it interesting that you're from the Philippines. What kind of music do listen to and what kind of food do you like? (I knw these are more personal questions and don't necessarily have to do with where your from or anything but, I'm curious. I hope you don't mind).
Ahahahaha It's just the same for me too. I love food especially if it's spicy, and I listen to a wide variety of music. What I listen to ranges from pop to R&B to reggae to classical to..... well, it'd be better to ask what I DON'T listen to really and, it's the same with food. I'm almost always open to trying something new as well so the list is not only never ending it's continuously growing haha.
Them bitches big as hell like damn I gotta break my neck to see their faces
