Don't throw away the whole genre because of one manhwa lmao. This is just a particularly dark and cruel fantasy that happens to have BL/yaoi elements.
Most BL manga....is not this cruel and twisted so as to treat everything but the main couple as trash >___>lll...actually most literature even. This is just a contrived "fictional novel" within an actual novel.
