It's https://www.novelupdates.com/series/i-am-a-big-villain/.
The arc I'm talking about hasn't been translated yet, but it starts at chapter 101 (google translate named it "The whole world is reborn").

It seems that a lot of the "my fiance killed me & my family in my previous life but in the new life, i found out he was brainwashed so i got over my PTSD & married him again anyway" stories almost NEVER go for the platonic friend option, despite ALWAYS creating a reverse harem of side guys (sometimes even other chicks too) who fawn over the MC.
I can only think of one story where that kind of scenario didn't happen & it was a single arc from a Quick Transmigration story where the MC's goal is to
>possess the body of a truly scum male
>redo his host's life so he is no longer scum & this time properly treasures the people he abused or mistreated in the previous life
That arc had the host being mildly awful to his family (indirectly responsible for bankrupting them through carelessness) & being a straight up abusive horrible husband to his wife. And all of these characters became reborn in the timeline that MC went in.
The family was angry at the host & felt betrayed by him personally, so they became cold towards him & were awful to him until MC proved that "he" wasn't a bad person.
However, the ex-wife was suffering from PTSD & thus avoided meeting MC at all costs, only running into him when they became schoolmates at university. She was wary & scared of him, but MC treated her politely & eventually they became good friends. She was able to forgive him for the previous timeline & move on, BUT the narrative made it explicitly clear that the failed marriage from the last life had killed off any romantic possibilities & thus she could only see him as a friend. He ended up giving her away at her wedding (she didnt have a dad to do this for her) & it was very cute & wholesome.
