At this point, I would be very supportive of them breaking up bc Mafu is clearly still not over Yuki and man, IRL getting into a new relationship w/o being fully over your ex yet makes for an extremely unhealthy relationship, not to mention it’s unfair to your new lover.
But then again let's consider the fact that yuki didn't leave the way other exes would usually leave. He committed suicide. And that itself is a lot for mafuyu to take in and to just simply get over him?? It's not that simple considering the cricumstances. But that doesn't mean mafuyu isn't trying. He is and clearly he wants to for ue and himself,it's just that it's difficult.
It’s true that the circumstances are different but there’s also no reason to rush into a new relationship when your heart isn’t ready yet. All we’re asking is for Mafuyu to take time for himself to heal. There’s no reason not to pause things with Uenoyama until Mafuyu’s heart is ready. Because a relationship is a two-way street, you have to think of the other person too. Similar to how Ugetsu had to let go of Akihiko bc if they stayed together, he would only keep hurting Akihiko with his virtuosity and his existence. Ugetsu had to let Akihiko go to save Akihiko from all that pain. We just want to save Uenoyama from all that pain.
Hmm I agree with the idea of not rushing into a new relationship when one isn't ready yet! I just think that maybe mafuyu could heal or move forward together with ue and the others :> Indeed relationships are a two way thing but at the end of the day there is no perfect relationship. We are humans that hust try our best to be happy. Maybe their relationship can work while healing but also maybe they need time apart so we just have to see what happens owo
It’s true that having a strong support group is important during one’s healing process but supporting is as far as they can go, ultimately, true healing has to come from within oneself. Honestly, I’m just disappointed that they rushed the love story between Mafu and Uenoyama, they should’ve become really good friends first before becoming lovers ughhh. But apparently the author has an affinity for complicated relationships lmao fine it’s her manga anyway haha!
I agree! I honestly think that they rushed into a relationship really quickly and i think in one of the chapters it showed ue sad because he realized he couldn’t be any of Mafuyu’s first and then it got me thinking how bad ue could be hurting during all of this. His sister had said Mafuyu was going to break his heart and ue said “ I guess so” Like I think they should either break up or take a break bc Mafuyu really needs time to heal and think things over. It would be nice if they could move forward together but that’s just ideal it’s never that easy and Mafuyu even admitted that he sees yuuki when he looks at ue sometimes :,) all of this is just sad ╥﹏╥
