I am sorry but what you are saying is dumb. An author can chose to write a character that we love or we hate. An author can create a nice generous loving character, or create a serial killer that murders people. The characters do not reflect the author or his/her real character and we can hate a fictional character without having any hate towards the author. But I can have an opinion on whether I like a character or not, it is the reader's prerogative. And it does not matter if it is the main MC or not. What someone may think as easy going, cute, calm other can perceive as weak, go with the flow, not interesting. And the argument "do not hate the mc, the author made her that way"... Well yeah... But we enter the "dimension" of the story and we think about it as an independent fragment of reality. If not why reading stories or watching movies? We can just say "oh it is not real, X made them". We care about X if they made something bad or good. Apart from that we can say if we like a character exactly as they are presented to us
I'm at Ch 23 now. I just hope her fiance find someone else. She don't deserve anyone. Hate her.
