Isis isn't being driven to do all of this because her husband loves Seth, it's about the betrayal she felt, from her own BROTHERS. Now if it were just that, then I would agree with you. However, Seth continued to pursue her and she had to give up all dignity as a god, and countless amounts of women were murdered just because they looked like her. So, perhaps she feels rage for her own suffering, for Horus' suffering, and for those women.
She was mad even before she had to run for her life. She put a curse on both of them before Seth lost his true self and started killing people. Idk about you but whenever I'm in a relationship, I always have rules and one of them is "if you like someone else doing the process, you must tell the other person (your date) about it and be sincere and honest because you cannot force anyone to love you and if someone is unfaithful why holding onto them?" The person she should be mad at from the beginning should have been her husband. She SAW her husband RAPED and MANIPULATED him and she so called "felt betrayed by her brother" so much she cursed him at that moment??
Now I can understand your respect and love for her but my point is, she's blinded because of her emotions and love for her husband. She got mad/confused/ upset at Seth immediately after she saw him being raped by her husband. But did she think rationally? No, she put a curse on him right away as a revenge. Then in the latest chapter, she clearly said because of Seth that her husband betrayed her, because of Seth that her husband doesn't love her and because of Seth she lost the image of the perfect family which I can be confident in saying "she's blaming his existence". You can also see Seth was still ok with her after he just killed her husband so she also did someone to him that make him want to chase her down. So did Seth immediately want to make her suffer? NO. She knows he's also a victim but she doesn't want to accept that fact, she knows she put a curse on an innocent person (who just got raped) but decided to hold onto the fact that she had to live in suffer during the time when she was being chased. So in conclusion, it's All about "she/her". Seth will get his karma later for killing people
but Iris's rage from the beginning is like what I said in my first comment
Yeah! These are all definitely valid points, however, Isis did also curse herself for still loving him, and as a way of atoning for her own powerlessness. Usually, I just hate it when people see Isis as just a bitch, we don't get to see the story from her perspective as much. Everything Seth's been through at the hands of Osiris does explain his actions in the story. Not to mention Sekhmet just boosting that rage and anger so it's a lot worse. The whole point of Isis' character is meant to be like a mysterious mastermind, so I hope that people will see her for more than what is portrayed at a superficial level.
I don't see her as a bitch, I just see her as someone who can let her emotions rule herself (in other words, stupid or blinded in love). Definitely because I'm a logical type in relationship so that's why I can't sympathize her "rage" as it's illogical to me. Do I think of her as someone whose very smart or mysterious? No, I need more scenes of her proving her intellectual and I careless about her being "mysterious". The God of destruction is more "mysterious" than Iris ever been. To me, Iris is more like a mom/woman role, who cares a lot about her family and who's very sensitive and can get carried away with her emotions.
Iris talked like if her lover loves someone else, that person owes her an apology for existing and making her lover stop loving her WHILE the person doesn't even know or even intend to ruin her relationship
