I don't have a single interest in humans in real life. I keep my 2D fantasies completely separate from 3D reality. There's a difference between fantasizing (ideas) fetishizing (applying said ideas to real people). Do I condone rape in real life? Of course not! Do I enjoy reading about stories like KS and POTN? Yes, yes I do. It's not black and white, Chris.
There is a clear difference between KS and POTN or anything like the latter. There is a difference between writing toxic or crazy points in a story in a trailer or whore little write those things in a romance story when the author would never write that in a woman story with a straight couple shows one thing and one thing that these actions are normal in gay communities. There is a difference between writing toxic or crazy points in a thriller or horror. To write those things in a romance story when the author would never write that in a straight couple and call it romance if jooin was a girl yahwi’s would be the villian. For good people in “yaoi” to be out of the norm shows one thing and one thing only that these woman writers think this stuff is normal in these communities. If you’re writing a romance that means that you want the actions to seem romantic or the couple to seem cute because that is the selling point so when you make things like rape or biphobia or anything like that written into the story you’re perpetuating the stereotype that these things are OK in these communities. Gay men are already seen as predators and bi ppl as cheaters. Writing like this is ass
First of all, I should've read the title of the manga that we're commenting under. If I had, I wouldn't have brought that point up at all. That being said, if you have a problem with women writing on and commenting about mlm relationships -and perhaps perpetuating stereotypes in the process- then there's really nothing you can do about it. Might as well throw the whole yaoi/BL industry away because that's a fundamental problem that you have with it. At the end of the day, it's a business; writers will write what sells. If you don't like it I would suggest not supporting the industry at all. Oops, I guess you're not, since you're reading these titles illegally like the rest of us.
I just wanna have a good time, read the comments and share my love for this manga with like minded people... instead the comment section is full of people offended by whatever a fictional character said........ girl
on top of that said fictional character said it half-ironically bitter like when you say "i hate men" for example. it's not that serious.... he doesn't really mean it.... so pretty please don't cancel Kajima, he still needs to sell his books... cancel culture is toxic and can ruin the careers of innocent manga characters :( #savekajima2020
