In Feng’s defense, she is delusional. At NO POINT did he EVER say he was interested in an actual relationship with her. She is getting paid to be his date to these events. That is a business contract, nothing more. And she is just letting herself get carried away. So no, she doesn’t deserve sympathy. This is her fault, not his.

Ah. I get how it is now. I think I forgot the chapter when Feng told her directly,so she's been the delusional one for expecting more from him. I kinda had little empathy for her because of her financial situation but I have no idea why she would lie to her friend about being with Jinyao... That's just stupid. No problem. It is easy to miss things at times.
To be honest I feel bad for the way Jinyao treats QianQian his pretend "girlfriend". He should end the relationship instead of risking hurting her feelings for face and he keeps pulling her along and is even rude to her in public and that's a jerk move. I get that she's poor and would rather stick to Jinyao for his money but that's called surviving. She's a nice girl and I hope she doesn't do what she's going to regret out of anger.
And UPDATE: LILING IS A SLUT!! HOLY SHITES. If the public finds out, that's the end of her career. She deserves it for being an asshole but I'm pretty sure it's for character development XD hopefully she'll be a nicer person...
