I was thinking just the same. It angers me a lot and usually it makes me want to stop reading the manga. But I keep my hopes up only to be let down later.

So true! In the back of my head, I was thinking that this fool would just still keep seeing them because Tomo is truly naive. But then again, it is only 4 chapters so things had to progress the way that they did.
