i'm not from Korea, but i am from South Asia. i don't really want to generalize, but i think Asians in general tend spread rumours/gossip without verifying its validity a lot. happens all the time here....
Lol yep. I can vouch for that too. Especially housewives and middle aged women. They just love to talk smack about people behind their backs.
