I thought Japanese and Korean authors had always been using Arab/Middle Eastern setting in their comics, especially in yaoi? Otoyomegatari was so popular back in 2010 or something.
I'm not too sure about the "original" part. Asian portrayal of Arabs is built on stereotypes. They're always portrayed as rich and royal every time i see them in a manga/manhwa.

well they are indeed rich and royal, some of the Arabs are also treating themselves like royalty despite not being one, i know this cuz my best friend is also an Arab!

also the story is pretty original tbh tbh. Usually mangas/manhwas take place in japan, korea, america, and fantasy worlds. I have high expectations of this
