it was said that the salt was the purest type and had not too much salt to it. I think it should be safe to say nothing is too salty.

Sweet need sugar and with the deserts given especially the cake, without salt they would taste bad or funny. (I'm a culinary student)

depends on the cakes too. I had to add salt on top of a cake's frosting for taste and look
