There are many parents like that. They seems educated but lack common sense in terms of parenting. They value their images and reputation more than the feeling of their child. They only looks at their child when he's gifted and disregard the normal one. Those kind of parents exist irl and that's sad.
Weren't the parents supposed to be from 'academic family' or 'family of doctors'? Makes me wonder what kind of education they received, seeing how they don't have an ounce of kindness in them （￣へ￣）
