Dude my “friends” literally say it to my face that things would be different if i am the one who died instead of my bestfriend. It wasnt my fault she had brain meningitis but people always liked her more. That was when i decided to apply for a university away from home (and lucky me no one from my batch enters the same university). Sometimes people just talk without thinking about other people’s feelings. They are not mean. They are simply stupid.
Oh im so sorry for your loss! Yes, people can be downright cruel but this kind of ignorance is just plain stupid. Im sorry you had to go through something similar. Hopefully, you will get to your uni and never see those people again!
