Dude, that's deep but seriously, I disagree. The duke seems like a fickle man. He just does whatever he wants lol he creates the contract and he breaks it just like that. He's improving tho so I guess there's that but you understand why no one would immediately trust such a guy right away right?

But wasn't he the one who left them first? He abandoned them in the palace for a girl who doesn't even treat the servants right. He didn't even try to get to know his servants well and was surprised that they were married to each other. It wasn't like they shunned him bcs of nothing, it's the consequences of his own actions.
I feel sorry for duke, he was not welcomed by his wife (fake), maids, buttler in his house, when he come home, they wished he could go to another building quickly. He smile all day, but it a mask, make no mistake, but he empty,
His mistress is digger, play with him, not love him.
No one wants to save him, he sees his wife's goodness, he tries to change for the better, alone, he saved himself.
I believe in the future he will be a good husband, but, he so pity, nobody love him (except his parents), to be loved, he must actively change, make others see his good side.
