This Uke/Seme shit has become so frustrating for me that I rarely enjoy yaoi anymore. I can't believe those stereotypes are still so prevalent. Even when there is a seke character, usually it's just turning a top into a total bottom.
That's why i'll always love Haru wo Daiteita (the first yaoi i read)! They were even the same height... lol

I think you'll like it. Even though it's ancient (released in 2005 iirc, ended this year), it managed to break many stereotypes. Because it was my first, i thought every couple in every yaoi would have an equal dynamic, and would take the occasional turn... Yeah, right...

It's disappointing how little has changed. And when i thought it couldn't get worse, they came up with the "omegaverse". lol
I'll check the titles you mentioned!

Tbh, i've never expected much from yaoi regarding gay issues because it's mostly created by (straight) women for (straight) women. Which also explains the perpetually fixed "roles" and the mandatory height difference (big turn offs for me). The result is that i read a new title once in a blue moon (i came here following the "seke" tag just to find out it's the same boring "seme meets semier and becomes a hopeless uke").
But when the plot (and art) is good, personal preferences don't matter. "Sora o Daite Oyasumi" has everything i usually dislike, and i find it a masterpiece!
