yeah but it’s like why? Don’t people want to break that wretched blood line. If you think about it this way: the king could simply adopt or have an alternative solution to give the throne to someone who isn’t even part of the bloodline/family. If the duke did it for his son then why can’t the king? I get social statuses are different between them but what’s so wrong about adopting or just like “promoting” someone?

I know yall are mad at shin for saying that but think and open your minds, the king need a son or a daughter to rule the next generation but in order for the king to continue his bloodline of the golden blessed he needs a queen in order to do that
