This story could have been nice if the drawings hadn't been so weak. Graphic standards for manga are really going down every day...

I can't help it, all I have to do is look at the manga of about 25 years or more ago, and compare to those things of today... it gets blander and weaker and more mass-production like every day. I am not happy about it. I long for mangaka like Kaoru Mori, Jiro Taniguchi, Ikegami Ryoichi, Morimoto Kozueko... admit you don't seen that quality anymore...

chill lmao, the art isnt even bad, its just the first couple of chapters where the authour clearly had to get used to their new characters from different angles

No, it IS bad. You probably aren't very demanding... Just look up the work of the people I named higher up and look at their work... that used to be standard. If you're in anyway able to judge artistic quality, you'll see the difference. Only those who really aren't interested in anything else but the story can be happy with the sort of work that's being done today.

How about we don’t gatekeep webcomics? Every artist needs to start somewhere. Tons of really popular manga from back in the day didn’t start off as a masterpiece. Artists grow with time and there’s nothing wrong with that. Take your elitist bullshit elsewhere. We don’t need it here.

Sure, but the great ones of the past started out miles further in quality than these ones today get after a hundred stories. And also: they all look the same, nothing original to be found anymore...
No, I'm adamant. Manga art is going down the drain.
