It is inspired by “les milles et une nuit” (one thousand and one night). It’s an Arabic story with the exact same plot but it’s a girl who tell the stories instead of a man.

As an Indian person I am unsure what's going on here since the author seems to almost mesh the cultures into an odd amalgamation of each-other. I understand since it's fictional, though. Enjoyable and does share some genuine history!
