You know what, I didn't even notice this until you pointed it out but you're right.. thinking back on the raw chapters from chapter 20 onwards, it feels like every alternate chapter has a smut scene and not much plot progress.. and I heard that season 1 will be ending in a few more chapters.. I hope that when it returns, the focus goes back to the mole and all that other stuff but I'm not too bothered by these diversions right now...
i'm also wondering where his boxing hyung went. like, can we get a few more chapters where he gets beat up cause that guy was manipulative af
The author won't want to rush. Now in the Korean version, the seme and uke relationship is getting more closer and intimate. It's not just sex, the uke is seeing the seme in a different light. And someone is about to hurt the uke by using the psychopath's sex friend and the person is someone important in the seme's life. Let's wait. The story is still there.
Definitely agree. imo the plot started getting convoluted once soo-young got a concussion just to later go on having sex with the boss, with his concussion being the plot device leading to early smut between them. There's also the fact that just before, he was assaulted by his abusive ex yet it was drawn like common smut. And now for the next non-consensual scenes, im pretty sure its gonna be done the same way again... At this point it really is more the tales of soo-young's yaoi hole rather than soo-young as a main character (-.-;)

This had such a strong start, but the story seems to have already gotten lost in fucboi land. *sigh*
Soo-young's boxing career was destroyed by an injury he didn't have the funds to pay to repair, while his boxing hyung used his weakened state to sexually prey upon him seemingly against his will. Then, after he breaks away from his hyung, he gets mixed up with korean yakuza to pay back a debt his dead-beat father owed. Boss became interested in him because of his animalistic fighting spirit, so lets him join the org to work off the debt. Boss, meanwhile, is quietly trying to find the mole/leak in his organization.
But instead of starting to address any of this, now it's just like everyone wants to spend a round or two in Soo-young's yaoi hole with nothing else going on with the rest of the plot. While I will admit the art and smut is very aesthetically pleasing, this isn't the story promised from the set up at the beginning. I really want to see Soo-young beating people into a pulp and rising up in the org, and becoming and more and more entranced with the damage his fists can inflict on others, while they search for the mole, etc etc.
The boss wanting Soo-young to be his side-ho should've been a plot development later, much farther into the boxing/debts/mole plot. Soo-young should've been working his butt off to impress the boss over the course of the story, not have the boss entranced with his shapely glutes right from the get-go and going on a ex-bf-smashing rampage like right near the beginning of the story. *facepalm*
I hope this sidetrack to explore Soo-young's sexy poopchute is gonna be done soon so we can get back to the meat of the story.
