exactly i get like subtle fetishisy vibes when people are like ‘the uke should always be the small cute one and the seme should always be the big manly one’ because they want it to be like a straight couple aesthetic (as that is sadly considered the ‘norm’) and they want the feel of a straight couple without the female if that makes sense but in fact gay relationships are different. it’s not just set in stone ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ but people don’t understand taht :(
