Wasn't it the same in her last series? Its sad to say but I feel like the artist just doesn't know how to end a story and just gives up on it. Hopefully it's another reason but this isn't the first time they gave up on it.
I personally liked the ending of WAHNW, it felt like it concluded the way it was intended to. This was clearly a rushed job because I think the author is sick so she was like “uh have them have a car crash, have a quick 2 panels sec scene then break up, the end” like it didn’t give any closure to anything....
I refuse to acknowledge the trainwreck of an ending. The artist just gave up and wrapped it up in the quickest way they could. The series is fine if you read until the mid way point. Then it’s time to ignore it and come up with your own ending
