I commend you for it. We all like good char as our fav chars. What we don't do is throw hate on chars or plots for not being our cup of tea. We just look the other way and move on like normal people would. I would understand if the char in question is a total pig and made a mess out of the whole story, but when it's a simple, cookie-cutter character, why even bother? Let the pleb enjoy their junk food.
