im a sucker for ancient myths and egypt in general and tbh im soo tired of having the 'big bad guy bad' into retelling. there are a lot of rendition into the events of horus ending the era of the old gods....but so little puts sets twisted character into mind. hes either just a villain or just a small fry before the boss bitch (apophis) is revealed. i really like set bc of his symbolism too. hes painted red to symbolise chaos, but in ancient egypt, red is also the the color of the desert, the color of home
