Your comment somehow made me laugh (and sorry, I don't mean to ridicule you or your opinion) - I just kinda noticed "I'm reading this for the lulz". I won't acquire any deep epiphany from this kind of story anyway, but yeah... I guess "J" is as hollow as any plotdevice can be (⌒▽⌒)
Nevertheless, the whole "Erotic Fairy Tale"-series moves along with the "I'm a man, you're a woman and we both know where this is going"-plot so a deep, meaningful villian who's properly equipped with a goal, a message and some comprehensible aim might interrupt the story's original goal... you know the...uhm...smut. (I don't mean to say you can't combine a villain and smut - that works well ヾ(☆▽☆) )
Really?..there is supposed to be a plot?!?...
But seriously its hard to be this vacuous and funny. And I'm enjoying it for those reasons.
Well the author is clearly trying with all this forced drama. If it was pure smut we'd get more sex scenes.
I know the writing probably isn't the main attraction of this manga but its just so terrible. "He's a demon so he's just doing it for the lulz" is just terrible writing. A villian with no goal, no aim, no message, nothing. Just for the hell of it. I know I'm gonna get thumbs downs from obnoxious readers who want to see nothing but a circle jerk of ppl agreeing with them but yeah..terrible villian. J is awful. I dont mean awful in a "what a evil Lillian" way. I mean awful as in just awfully written.
