if you reread the manga, youll find that there is actually a lot of foreshadowing leading to these events. its definetly going somewhere. erans dad even mentioned that everything hinged on him being able to control this power. also he said that if the power confuses you let thier memories act as a guide. you couldnt possibly think his dad just randomly turned his son into a titan for no reason? this author is a genius. i cant wait till everything ties together. it will be epic
Of course he wouldn't turn his son into a titan for no reason. I see many of the connections (admittedly not all) but I see the reveals as more anti-climatic. I enjoy the "grand scheme" theme of this manga but I feel it severely lacks logic. It's hard to explain when you know something but you're not sure how it makes sense but it does, just not in the way you'd hoped and that's exactly where I am right now. I do love the manga and at this point, purely for its characters. (=・ω・=)

i totally get what your saying. its like, when you have exspectations and they arnt met. even it something is good, you cant seem to like it because its not what you initially anticipated :) makes scense. i was that way with dawn of the arcana. i couldnt like the main charecter. even though he turned out to be decent, i had decided in chapter one that i loved loki, so no matter what ceaser did, my mind had already decided who i liked.

I honestly don't know where this story is going anymore. You could probably just add a flamingo titan that turns into a gundam and explodes to save humanity but it was all an elaborate dream Levi had and he slips on his bunny slippers and sips morning coffee. The End. Or is it...?
