She assaulted Dorim because she thought he was threatening her. It was her way to manage it. And Jiha didn't exactly treated her well and kept insulting and abusing her verbally. Now, I don't justify what she did in response, but it's not her who started it.

The human's psiche is really frail, just like the body. The proof is that both of physical and psychological abuse are crimes. The only difference is that you can see the outside wounds but not the the inner wounds.
